Kyiv-Mohyla Humanities Journal 11 (2024): Call for Papers
The 22nd of April 2024 marks the 300th Anniversary of the birth of Immanuel Kant (1724–1804), an outstanding thinker, and founder of German classical philosophy. “What can I know?”, “What must I do?”, “What can I hope for?”, “What is man?” ‒ these four famous Kant's questions define not only the sense of his philosophical study but also the point of human-focused humanitarian discourse. The person and philosophy of Kant attract the well-deserved attention of humanities scientists worldwide, including Ukraine.
Therefore, the chief topic for Kyiv-Mohyla Humanities Journal’s next, 11th issue, scheduled for 2024 was defined as “Kant Studies in Ukraine: History and Modernity” (to Kant’s 300th Anniversary).
We are to underline that each following issue of KMHJ will be dedicated to the central topic but not restricted to it. Therefore, you are welcome to share your current research in the field of humanities (namely history, literature studies, and philosophy). However, the publication priority will be given to the articles, regarding the reception of Kant’s ideas in the territories of Ukraine in the 18th – 21th.
Kyiv-Mohyla Humanities Journal (KMHJ) is a Ukrainian peer-reviewed academic humanities journal, initiated and published by the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. KMHJ publishes articles on history, philosophy, and literature studies focusing on the Ukrainian context.
Articles are accepted in English only. Guidelines for authors can be found here.
Only articles prepared according to the above guidelines will be accepted.
Articles by collective authorship are generally not considered.
